As a mechanism to support the open source ndau ecosystem, the Axiom Foundation applies a withheld percentage to all earned EAI to generate fees that are used to support members of the ndau ecosystem that provide functions and services to the ecosystem.
These fees are presently as follows:
- 10% node operations
- 4% development, marketing, and maintenance
- 5% for digital tokens in ndau related chains
- 1% for the price discovery feature
Thus, a maximum of 20% of earned EAI may be routed to these purposes, meaning for every 100 EAI ndau earned, 20 may go towards these services instead of to the holder via the ndau Blockchain protocol.
